- Strong skill in analyzing student discipline data, coupled with a deep commitment to data-driven decision making

- Student Support
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment that supports student growth and achievement.
- Lead the implementation of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) to promote positive student behavior and reinforce school-wide expectations.
- Facilitate Restorative Justice practices, including mediation and restorative circles, to address conflicts, repair harm, and strengthen community relationships.
- Collaborate with counselors, families, and community partners to support students' social-emotional needs and academic success.
- Meticulously maintain, monitor, and report on student data (discipline, culture, and attendance), and provide student supports in response to data
- Monitor student attendance and behavior data to identify trends, intervene with at-risk students, and implement proactive support strategies.
- Ensure due process and legal compliance with all disciplinary actions, accurately document all school communication and responses to discipline
- Champion student leadership initiatives that empower student voice and foster engagement in school culture.
- Teacher Support
- Partner with teachers to integrate PBIS strategies and restorative approaches within the classroom, ensuring consistent behavioral expectations across the school.
- Provide coaching and professional development focused on classroom management, restorative practices, and culturally responsive behavior interventions.
- Support teachers with conflict resolution strategies, helping to maintain a positive classroom climate and maximize instructional time.
- Collaborate with instructional leadership teams to align student behavior supports with academic goals and overall school improvement plans.
- Analyze behavior and attendance data with staff to inform interventions, adjust practices, and enhance student support systems.
- Bachelor's Degree (required); Admin license (preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years teaching in a low-income school with demonstrated exemplary student results
- At least 3 years of work in a some leadership capacity in a low-income school with demonstrated exemplary student results
- Ability to effectively manage instructional and non-instructional personnel
- Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
- Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement effective business systems that ensure proper stewardship of school funds
- Ability to exercise excellent judgment in decision-making
- Knowledge in the selection, training, and supervision of personnel
- Knowledge of the laws, rules, procedures, and programs specifically related to the operation of a special education program
