Role

The Project Management Leader is responsible for overseeing and guiding the successful execution of projects within the organization. This role involves leading the Project Management Team, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while aligning with the strategic goals of the credit union. The Project Management Leader will play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in project management practices

To be successful as the Project Management Leader we are looking for someone who will:

• Develop and implement project management methodologies and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
• Lead and mentor the Project Management Team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior management to define project priorities and align them with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they meet the specified goals and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including Team Members, executives, and external partners.
• Conduct regular project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive Team environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in project management to continuously enhance the organization's capabilities.
• Responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and maintaining business continuity.

Required Experience And Education

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of leading complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at various levels within an organization.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing project management methodologies and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
