Dispatcher

Job Overview: The Dispatcher oversees the scheduling and coordination of vehicle and driver movements to ensure smooth and efficient transportation operations.

Main Duties:

• Assign routes and drivers based on delivery schedules and priorities
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and updates
• Monitor vehicle locations and progress using GPS or tracking systems
• Address issues such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route adjustments
• Keep detailed records of dispatch activities and driver logs
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to fulfill delivery needs

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in transportation or logistics is preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency with dispatch software and GPS technology
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Compensation: $25.07 per hour
