Shift: Day and Evening Shifts- 5:30am to 1:30pm and 11:30am to 7:30pm
Weekends: Every other weekend required

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Dietary Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appetizing meals for our residents, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and dietary requirements of residents.
- Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner and served at the appropriate temperature.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with dietary staff and other departments to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development as needed.
- Previous experience as a cook in a healthcare facility, restaurant, or similar environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Culinary certification or relevant training.
- Experience working in a long-term care facility.
