As a Client Success & Retention Specialist, you’ll support our top producers and master the foundational skills of mortgage sales. You’ll follow up with leads, set appointments, ask for referrals, revive cold prospects, and gain direct experience working in a CRM, managing pipelines, and communicating with customers.
This role involves a high volume of outbound communication — mostly phone calls — so you must be comfortable talking to people all day, asking the right questions, and building trust quickly. You’ll also text and email leads regularly and rely on CRM tools to keep everything moving forward.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a commission-based Loan Officer within 12–18 months — and who’s ready to hustle, learn, and earn their seat at the table.

Lead Intake & Appointment Setting
- Respond to inbound digital leads from web forms, ads, and landing pages
- Guide prospects through the loan application and prequalification process
- Set up appointments for Loan Officers based on fit, timeline, and readiness
- Ensure all lead data is correctly entered and updated in our CRM
- Follow up with leads that have gone cold or unresponsive after initial contact
- Use personalized call, text, and email sequences to re-engage interest
- Route warmed-up leads back to the appropriate Loan Officer
- Contact past clients for annual mortgage check-ins and review requests
- Actively ask for referrals during meaningful client interactions
- Identify refinance, move-up, or second-home opportunities
- Keep clients engaged with timely follow-up and value-driven communication
- Maintain accurate lead status, tags, notes, and workflow assignments in our CRM.
- Ensure leads are properly nurtured through automated sequences and live follow-up
- Audit and clean pipelines to avoid lead loss or follow-up gaps
- Track daily/weekly outreach, appointments booked, and re-engagement wins
- Provide weekly updates to leadership on lead pipeline health and trends
- Suggest workflow or follow-up improvements to boost conversion
