The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add a Manager, Supply Chain - Contract Manufacturing to our Supply Chain team. This role will be responsible for managing multiple contract manufacturing locations, with accountability for production reliability, cost performance, quality, and customer service results. This role partners with Business Units to identify external manufacturing capabilities and supports new product and packaging initiatives through cross-functional project teams. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage contract manufacturing facilities, with emphasis on production reliability, cost performance, quality and customer service
  • Responsible for complete operational, technical and financial assessment of prospective copackers and providing practical recommendations to correct process and packaging deficiencies and bring operations into PepsiCo specifications.
  • Works closely with central and local planning groups to harmonize production scheduling and inventory management.
  • Works closely with Demand Planning to help resolve capacity issues under high product demand periods.
  • Participate in Commercialization Team meetings to manage the operational and technical aspects of Product commercialization, including new products, new packaging, capital investment and the startup of new lines
  • Lead changes in processing and packaging alternatives/recommendations to business teams
  • Develop innovation optimization solutions across co-pack network to establish new component assembly processes and capabilities required to support new packaging and products
  • Identifies and implements productivity opportunities at co-packing locations and across the supply chain, leveraging Lean Six Sigma processes
  • Lead all contractual processes/procedures to include Request for Proposal, Confidentiality Agreements, Letters of Intent and Manufacturing Contracts to lock in pricing and term
  • Lead all capacity expansion projects to include site reviews, Request for Proposal development, site engineering gap analysis, contract negotiations and pricing development, 3PM coordination, CQV site startups and contract management

The Perfect Blend: Experience

  • 5 years minimum applicable experience in manufacturing/supply chain
  • 3-5 years minimum of project management/leadership experience
  • Previous roles in Beverage, Dairy and Foods operations highly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future  
  • Must be located in Bradenton, FL or Chicago, IL surrounding areas or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations
