FERRARI OF SAN DIEGO IS SEEKING AN EXCEPTIONAL PARTS MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
  • Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
  • Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, wholesale accounts, and the do-it-yourself public.
  • Organizes and maintains the parts department in the most efficient layout.
  • Establishes and maintains logical locations for all parts and note’s location in computer by part number.
  • Establishes and maintains a system for aging special order bins.
  • Establishes and practices measures to deter departmental theft.
  • Directs an annual physical inventory and maintains a perpetual inventory bin-maintenance system.
  • Employs systems to minimize obsolescence.
  • Develops, uses, and monitors an efficient stock ordering system.
  • Utilizes all available discounts without exceeding stocking parameters.
  • Tracks lost sales.
  • Develops, uses, and monitors emergency order placement system and schedules, and ensures proper information flow to all involved parties.
  • Ensures that emergency orders are used primarily to effect service-level goals.
  • Tracks, calculates, and logs dollar-volume of emergency orders and resultant lost obsolescence accrual monthly.

Skills/Education required to perform the role:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four to ten year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Pass background check
  • Pass drug test
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal relations and written/oral communication skills to communicate with both internal contacts in the organization and external contacts including vendors, internal and external customers.
  • Must have excellent phone skills
  • Must have excellent math skills.
  • Well organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to gather, interpret and proactively act on data with minimal supervision.

Pay: $20.00= $30.00 / hour plus commission
