The Work

As a Scrum Master Specialist in our Cloud Innovation Center, you will guide teams through agile ceremonies, drive delivery excellence, and champion agile principles in the development of cloud-native applications. You'll work closely with product owners, developers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the team delivers high-quality, innovative solutions that meet business goals.

  • Lead Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) and facilitate team collaboration.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor to the agile team, promoting self-organization and accountability.
  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress, escalating as necessary
  • Guide teams using Agile/Lean practices and principles, including SAFe or Scrum (where applicable).
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Help teams meet delivery commitments and improve predictability through metrics and reporting.

This is a hybrid role in Columbus, OH and will require 3 days per week in the office.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Scrum Master role with agile software development teams including proven understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP) and delivery processes.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience); if Associate's Degree, must have minimum of 6 years equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in cloud-native or DevOps environment is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with agile engineering practices such as TDD, CI/CD, Pair Programming
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other agile lifecycle management tools
  • Strong understanding of software delivery metrics and reporting
  • Experience managing agile teams in distributed environments
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and servant leadership skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
