Position Purpose: 

The Packaging Design Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day packaging artwork requests and specifications while ensuring brand consistency. This role revolves around accuracy and consistency of all brand-related artwork, from initial design to final proof. Position must maintain artwork workflow, collaborate with various teams, and utilize software to track and manage artwork across different partners. 

 Reporting Relationship:

· Supervisor: Marketing Project Manager

Responsibilities: 

Tracking Packaging Workflow and Deliverables

· Track and schedule artwork workflow from initial request to final deliverables

· Communicate deadlines, monitor progress, resolve problems, and ensure timely action in all artwork tasks

Artwork

· Using Adobe Illustrator, prepare artwork for print production

· Effectively manage multiple packaging design projects concurrently and within deadlines 

· Distribute and maintain artwork files ensuring brand consistency 

· Review and troubleshoot design proofs and communicate with team, vendors and partners overseas and in-house during production process

· Support other graphic related projects 

· Manage all artwork and communications 

· Organize content systematically for easy access

Support Product Management/Sales 

· Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects

· Collaborate with internal departments and SBUs focusing on their packaging, specifications, and imagery needs

· Communicate updates and changes to various teams

· Utilize artwork and specifications for various support materials

Data Management

· Maintain and update internal packaging specifications and other digital assets on in-house and customer platforms 


Qualifications and Skills Required

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or closely related field 

· 5+ years’ relevant experience working in packaging design field and project management

· Strong software aptitude in Adobe Suite, Microsoft products, data management software. Knowledge of retail platforms and GDSN a plus

· Above average skills in proofreading with keen attention to detail

· Time management and ability to coordinate activity with outside vendors 

· Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

· Self-motivated team player with a result-oriented attitude and creative background

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Familiarity with packaging materials and printing processes preferred but not required

· Experience with food labeling regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA), packaging standards, and industry best practices preferred but not required

· Minimal travel
