EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.
As the head of this team, you will be responsible for developing and driving a program plan and strategy that delivers clear and measurable results. You play the point as the contact not only for the clients but also for the various tracks across the country. - Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a preference for working in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, or Atlanta, GA. We will also consider a remote-based working arrangement for qualified candidates.***

THE WORK YOU'LL DO
- Develop experiential marketing platforms which address business priorities, are measurable, and meet deliverables
- Oversee planning and execution of the events and guide team members
- Lead all communication with partner agency leads
- Management of client account with our two client leads
- Lead strategic planning, and analysis to ensure effective marketing programs
- Budget management and accounting
- Negotiate sponsorships and contract execution
- Develop and respond to POV requests on sponsorships and partnerships
- Be an inspirational leader who can lead in the trenches, but at the same time be a mentor and strong manager adept at providing feedback and mentor

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7-10 years of proven experience in related fields; experiential marketing and/or corporate hospitality (consumer and B2B). Experience working in the business of Motorsport or with an automobile manufacturer is strongly preferred
- You have a passion for and expertise in sponsorship management, experiential marketing, and motorsport
- You are a respected leader and coach who inspires, motivates, mentors and strengthens a team
- Effective presenter and can be an ambassador of Octagon's brand and business
- Experience with budgeting and can discuss fiscal matters with ease to any audience: clients, finance, your team
- Collaborative in nature with a "no job is too small" demeanor to assist with overall account team duties and additional programs as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Ability to travel as required- Weekend and Holiday event work are part of the package
