- Monitor inventory accuracy in SAP and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce stockouts and excess
- Track key inventory KPIs including turnover, aging, and shrinkage.
- Lead a team of two direct reports (Warehouse Manager, Receiving Lead) and eight hourly associates responsible
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for storage and distribution of raw materials and
- Ensure 3PL compliance with Sunny Sky’s batch traceability, FIFO standards, and inventory control policies.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse personnel to achieve departmental goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Promote cross-training, career development, and succession planning within the materials function.
- Own maintenance of vendor documentation with guidance from the Quality Manager including certificate of
- Ensure materials handling complies with food safety standards (e.g., FDA, SQF, HACCP).
- Maintain proper documentation for lot tracking, supplier certifications, and quality assurance processes.
- Minimum 5 years’ direct work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in materials management, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.
- Experience with SAP S4 HANA, SAP R3 or other ERP systems.
- Proven leadership in managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of food safety regulations and GMP standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- APICS/CPIM or CPM certification is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
