We are looking for a Cybersecurity System Administrator to play a crucial role in defending our systems from cyberattacks and digital threats in one of the most sensitive and advanced environments in the country.
As a key member of the IT & Cybersecurity team, you'll collaborate with engineers, system administrators, and compliance teams to ensure our digital assets remain protected, compliant, and resilient.

- Monitor and manage firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, EDR, and other security technologies.
- Apply and maintain security configurations, STIGs, GPOs, and industry-standard baselines.
- Perform patch management, system updates, and hardening of Windows/Linux environments.
- Investigate and respond to alerts, incidents, and cyber threats in collaboration with IT/OT teams.
- Maintain security and system logs for compliance with NIST, CMMC, and other frameworks.
- Support vulnerability management, audits, and compliance activities (e.g., CNSSI, NRC).
- Coordinate with system admins to ensure secure configurations and disaster recovery readiness.
- Provide technical documentation and assist in implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and national cybersecurity guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience with accredited classified systems, including documentation and administration.
- Familiar with forensic tools, threat detection systems, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Skilled in interpreting and implementing standards like NIST 800-53/171/82 and CNSSI 1253.
- Possess (or can obtain) advanced cybersecurity certifications (e.g., SSCP, CCSP, CEH, Sec+).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE/NRC Q-Clearance or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Must be able to pass drug testing, background investigations, and security protocols.
