ADULT DAY SERVICES DIVISION DIRECTOR - FULL TIME
SALARY - $90,000 /Annually

SUMMARY: The Adult Day Services Division Director is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of programs within the division, ensuring alignment with the Agency’s mission, regulatory standards, and core values. This role involves staff supervision, budget oversight, program evaluation, and community engagement.

SUMMARY: The Adult Day Services Division Director is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of programs within the division, ensuring alignment with the Agency’s mission, regulatory standards, and core values. This role involves staff supervision, budget oversight, program evaluation, and community engagement.
Essential Functions
- Direct and assure implementation of division policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with area professionals and resources, such as DDS, MassHealth, GATRA, and MassAbility, to ensure and enhance the quality of services.
- Assist in the development of program funding proposals and budgets.
- Monitor spending and recommend budget amendments to the VP of Adult Day Services.
- Submit all appropriate reports and statistical data as required.
- Recommend staff changes and hires.
- Supervise and evaluate direct-report staff and assist in the supervision and evaluation of their staff, focusing on exceptional care and support for individuals in the programs.
- Establish required basic training and recommend in-service training and staff development for program staff.
- Serve as a liaison in the community to promote awareness and support of programs.
- Participate as a member of the Program Management Team.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards; proactively identify and address potential areas of risk.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in a person-centered and culturally competent manner.
- Foster a supportive work environment that promotes staff engagement, development, and retention.
- Respond to division emergencies as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus 10 years’ experience; a master’s degree is preferred
- Knowledge of social service programs for the population being served
- Knowledge of government contracting processes
- Skill in administration and/or supervision
- Skill in serving as a role model and a leader within organizations and service communities
- Skill in responding to division emergencies
- A qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and a valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to provide TB assessments and any required follow-up documentation, if applicable, every two years
