Construction Estimator – Healthcare Imaging Renovations
Full-Time | Gastonia, NC | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Revels Contracting Services, Inc. specializes in Design-Build Services for interior renovations that prepare healthcare spaces for the installation of Imaging Equipment provided by leading Vendor Manufacturers. Our projects are located in a variety of healthcare environments including:
- Hospitals
- Imaging Clinics
- Cancer Centers
- Diagnostic Imaging Facilities
- Surgical Environments
- Veterans Affairs Hospitals
- Military Bases
- Government Healthcare Facilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Vendor Imaging Equipment drawings and existing site conditions to help define scope.
- Generate detailed budgetary estimates using our customized Excel-based estimating tool.
- Contact subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to request and review pricing.
- Write detailed Scopes of Work for all trades involved (carpentry, drywall, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers to align sealed drawings with proposed scope.
- Analyze architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical plans for design-build projects.
- Prepare and submit formal proposals and bid packages for private and government clients.
- 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in healthcare construction, design-build projects, or interior renovations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe PDF, and digital communication tools.
- Familiarity with construction scopes related to mechanical systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with subcontractors, customers, and imaging equipment vendors.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior work in or around medical imaging equipment installation projects.
- Experience with Veterans Affairs, military bases, or government facilities.
- Familiarity with bid-style estimating and proposal generation for public-sector jobs.
