Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst – Ops is an entry level position that supports supply chain operational elements throughout our business. This role is key to maintaining our inventory accuracy throughout our supply chain, solving daily inventory variances, conducting reconciliations, and completing a variety of supply chain transactions to ensure the smooth flow of goods and services.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business or another related field
  • Team Player Mentality
  • Moderate Excel Skills (Xlookup, Pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and process improvement skills

Key Responsibilities

NOTE: This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the organization's ongoing needs; these duties are considered marginal.

  • Monitor for, and resolve, all inventory variances and transaction failures due to inventory variances daily.
  • Assign GL codes to all warehouse invoices to properly categorize charges
  • Receive co-manufacturing and raw material PO’s
  • Aiding JSF shipping and receiving teams with inventory control questions and issues
  • Reconcile assigned inventory sets on a weekly basis
  • Creating reports and providing information on inventories at 3PL to accounting and other teams as needed
  • Research and provide disposition on OS&D claims
  • Make inventory adjustments as necessary to maintain correct inventory, facilitate production, and other processes within JSF.
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues that continue to disrupt our inventory accuracy, creating SOP’s and working cross functionally to fix reoccurring issues.
  • Publish a variety of reports to the team and greater business
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies of QA Hold Status on various sets of inventory
  • Work cross-functionally to accomplish tasks, projects and resolve issues, representing the supply chain team and its interests
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Limited, occasional night and weekend work required

Work Environment

This job is carried out in a professional office setting and involves using standard office equipment like laptops, desk phones, and smartphones. Regular visits to production facilities may also be required. During those visits, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold and/or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving

mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, cold temperatures, and electrical shock and vibration risks. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Physical Demands

Requirements

Employees must be able to stand, walk, or sit; use their hands for tasks; reach with their arms; and communicate verbally. Occasional lifting or moving of objects is necessary, along with close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Additional requirements for this position include:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs and walk long distances (1–3 hours per day)
  • Work in hot (above 90°F) or cold (below 32°F) conditions
  • Reliable transportation required
