Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support assigned communities to meet staffing levels, supporting regional leaders in managing struggling markets and train new Executive Directors on TA processes. This role requires an individual to leverage metrics and data to identify where time needs to be spent- across their portfolio of communities. Equal parts problem solver and strategic doer- this role requires hands on recruiting for hourly positions at times, supporting markets with sourcing strategies and ensuring training and compliance with our recruiting processes within the communities they support. Responsibilities:
- Partner with Operational leaders to plan and implement talent acquisition strategy for specific markets and addressing areas of concern
- Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill specific positions as needed during leadership transition- approximately 10% of assigned communities at any given time
- Teach, coach and train new Executive Directors on talent acquisition process, procedures and tools/resources
- Develop regular reporting to key stakeholders of agreed talent acquisition metrics and identify any action/interventions for areas of concern.
- Resolve TA operational challenges that exist at the community
- Contribute to discussions on trends and identify gaps/high risks areas of need following data analysis to allow the business to develop risk mitigation strategy in connection with recruitment.
- Support forecasting efforts at the community and market level for assigned communities
- Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.) for hourly roles
- Support community leadership in ensuring candidate attraction tools and resources are being effectively utilized
- Help community leadership manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
- Support field leaders on how to review employment applications and background check reports
- Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics for assigned markets
- Communicate regularly with HR department to get a clear view of company’s hiring needs and organizational goals
- Work closely with marketing department, TA sourcing and TA Operations to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
- Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
- Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities
- Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry
- Previous working experience preferably as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience training on Talent Acquisition/recruitment process
- In-depth knowledge of candidate’s selection methods
- Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes
- Hands on experience with Applicant Tracking System (preferably Brassring)
- Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- A positive, “can do” attitude
