As Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for running the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including payroll, full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding team members, benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices. Your multifaceted role involves:
- Coordinate and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles.
- Serve as the first point of contact for team member inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee communication.
- Aide in the administration of performance reviews and goal-setting processes.
- Support managers and team members in developing and tracking performance improvement plans.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Responsible for executing and validating biweekly payroll processing to maintain accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee the FAA Drug & Alcohol program to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR files are accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 2-4 years human resources experience.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Strong time management skills with a track record of consistently meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
