This Occupational Safety & Health Specialist role requires a proactive professional with strong OSHA knowledge and experience in Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, and Machine Guarding. You’ll drive safety across our site by managing monthly safety topics, leading awareness campaigns, and conducting engaging safety meetings in both English and Spanish. This onsite position is ideal for an experienced safety professional who thrives in an industrial setting and is adept at handling both the strategic and hands-on aspects of workplace safety.

Requirements

In this key role, you’ll investigate incidents, perform detailed root cause analyses, and ensure every safety incident is accurately documented and promptly reported to the executive team. An essential part of your work will be communicating safety issues and incident prevention measures across all A&K sites within 24 hours, ensuring a cohesive safety strategy and culture. You’ll also analyze safety incidents, writing clear and concise reports and presenting lessons learned to the broader team to reinforce prevention. By collaborating with all departments, you’ll foster an environment where safety is second nature to every employee, from production to warehouse staff.

As the Occupational Safety & Health Specialist, you’ll conduct thorough facility inspections, identifying risks, enforcing safety protocols, and mentoring employees with interactive, hands-on coaching. Your role involves partnering closely with project teams to promote safety from equipment delivery through installation, ensuring compliance with both government regulations and Saint-Gobain safety standards. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for managing training and re-training schedules to keep the team updated on safety best practices, documenting any safety violations, and reinforcing our discipline process to maintain a top-notch safety environment.

Our full-time schedule is 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, so you can enjoy a balanced work-life routine.
