This is a Full Time, Salaried, Exempt position.
The Director, Clinical Services is responsible for the day-to-day management of clinical services provided by Residing Hope, including the training and supervision of all clinical staff. This position reports to and works closely with the Vice President, Residential Treatment relating to the program and clinical services provided. This position is also part of the Residential Leadership team, which supports compliance with all delivery of services to the fiscal, ethical and legal standards upheld by Residing Hope.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
This job will supervise the Child and Family Therapists and the Case Aide positions.
Travel
This position may spend up to 15% time traveling to trainings, conferences and various worksite locations in Florida.
Schedule
This position works eight-hour shifts with the opportunity to take a one-hour unpaid break, five days per week. Weekend and evening flexibility is required in order to participate in a clinical on-call rotation. Schedule may be subject to change at any time, with or without notice. Other policies concerning this position are set forth in the current policies and procedures manual.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Work or related field of study and eight (8) plus years’ experience providing clinical services to at risk youth populations preferred; or any combination of training, education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, abilities and skills to successfully perform in this role.
- Active Florida license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.) with supervision functionality, required.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid/Managed Care regulations.
- Ability to provide evidenced based training, orientation, consultation and guidance to a broad spectrum of clinicians who may demonstrate a wide division of clinical knowledge.
- Strong background in program and staff development.
- Demonstrated expertise in the following areas: child and adolescent development, family dynamics, assessment and treatment of trauma, and accurate diagnosis.
- Demonstrated expertise in the following areas: psychosocial and psychosexual assessment, individual/group/family therapy, crisis intervention, and evidence based treatment techniques.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure and time sensitive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office software and various data management systems.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a fast paced, professional environment.
- Understands and adheres to HIPAA requirements relating to confidentiality and protection of client records.
- Ability to maintain sensitivity to our target population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Responsible for the clinical operations, planning, development, and implementation of programs for all clinical programs within Residing Hope, excluding outpatient services.
- Develops, monitors, and consistently updates the residential services model of care.
- Manages expenditures and revenue generating activities related to programs/services to ensure resources are maximized and that all assigned programs are fiscally responsible.
- Provides guidance/consultation to the MYR Clinical Staff as necessary.
- Meets all contract obligations with CBC’s and other community providers.
- Oversees all clinical processes to ensure continual compliance with DCF, COA, EAGLE, AHCA, and other licensing or reviewing bodies.
- Oversees all residential services processes for performance quality improvement to meet/exceed industry best practice standards.
- Ability to read and analyze complex government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, proposals, policy, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Serves as a member of the Leadership Team.
- Provides leadership to professional staff.
- Ability to organize and make presentations to the community, Board of Trustees, and other constituents.
- On call responsibilities as assigned/appropriate.
- Ensures compliance with internal policies, procedures, and rules, accreditation, licensing, and contract standards.
- Perform all other job duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record, required.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Work or related field of study, required.
- Active Florida license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.) with supervision functionality, required.
- Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in English, required.
