Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Review project blueprints, specifications, and pre-built quote packages to develop accurate plumbing cost estimates using FastPIPE.
- Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs for commercial/public works plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to confirm scope and requirements.
- Source and evaluate vendor/subcontractor pricing for plumbing materials and services.
- Prepare and submit timely bids and proposals based on standardized estimating procedures.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, submitted bids, and finalized costs.
- Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying efficiencies or alternatives in materials/labor.
- 3+ years of plumbing estimating experience in public sector projects.
- Proficiency in FastPIPE
- Ability to read and analyze construction drawings
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Procore, Revit, Bluebeam (a plus)
