About The Role

Data insights is a core to Airship unlocking revenue growth and accelerating performance of our ABX engine, pipeline, and marketing programs. As the Marketing Insights leader, you will report to the CMO, while partnering closely with the GTM and revenue teams across Operations, Marketing, Finance, and go-to-market leaders to unlock growth opportunities and make data-driven decisions. You would bring forward funnel and ABX performance insights and leverages data and insights to identify and unlock growth levers.

The right candidate will work effectively with cross functional teams related data to analyze, interpret, and provide valuable insights, and develop a deep understanding of product usage, customer data, ABX and marketing performance to instrument our business. Scaling and automating reporting, creating automated mechanisms to report, and operational rigor that helps bring performance and predictive insights to the entire organization will be keys to success.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough and accurate analysis of complex data sets from various sources to identify trends and derive insights
  • Conduct analysis to understand content performance on the web, digital, and campaigns, and enablement to assess impact on the customer/buyer journey
  • Understand product feature usage to identify impactful growth strategies, both new customer and expansion, as well as inform future product roadmap strategies
  • Leverage web traffic and product usage data to identify user journey pain points and propose data-driven optimizations to drive acquisition and customer expansion
  • Analyze marketing and end-to-end funnel performance with an insight driven approach to uncover ways to improve funnel performance
  • Instrument, measure, and set targets across GTM teams for ABX and pipeline to drive revenue growth
  • Develop best-in-class, near real-time dashboards for company KPIs, combining data sources into a single relatable view
  • Prepare and present insightful data at regular reviews, highlighting key performance indicators and growth opportunities
  • Proactively explore data to find trends, discover KPIs, and apply proper hypothesis testing and recommend future marketing campaign performance aligned to external SaaS benchmarks
  • Implement reliable reporting, tracking, and ROI/attribution across all global markets and measure campaign and digital performance
  • Collaborate with product, solutions, marketing, revenue, and operations teams to ensure accurate product data tagging and tracking, and ensure data-driven decision making in everything we do
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and peers to thoroughly understand their needs and business goals, provide proactive insights, and position analytics appropriately to support program execution
  • Frequently interact with executives and senior management to define goals, strategic plans, and communicate data and analytic insights
  • Effectively form and communicate recommendations based on insights from data analysis to a variety of stakeholders, including executive and go-to-market stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B SaaS reporting and analysis for go-to-market teams or a similar background, strong understanding of Marketing, Pipeline Performance metrics
  • Proven ability to package findings into relevant insights, embracing a consultative approach to drive improvement up and down the organization
  • Master of collaborating cross-functionally and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with data and analytics methods utilizing a variety of BI tools such as Tableau, SFDC, Looker, and digital analytics platforms, plus aptitude to learn additional solutions as needed
  • Experience switching from strategic thinking to execution
  • Self motivated and driven, looking ahead of what people ask and bringing innovative solutions forward
  • Communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills that allow effective interactions with business partners, stakeholders, and senior leadership

Work Location & Travel Requirements

Airship's 'Digital First' approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.

This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.

Compensation

Airship's compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including: relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location.

The starting base pay range for this position is: $175,500-$205,000 per year. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives. Airship believes that employees should have the opportunity to benefit from value-creation, so equity is also offered with this role. In addition, Airship offers a robust benefits package as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
