Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Supervisor on the 2nd shift to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities at our state-of-the art bottling facility in Milwaukee, WI. This hands-on, hourly role is responsible for supervising maintenance staff, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Supervisor on the 2nd shift to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities at our state-of-the art bottling facility in Milwaukee, WI. This hands-on, hourly role is responsible for supervising maintenance staff, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule daily activities of the maintenance team
- Oversee routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery, equipment and facility systems
- Monitor and manage maintenance logs, work orders and preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to plan maintenance around operational needs
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on technical skills and safety procedures
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts and supplies; coordinate with vendors when necessary
- Report equipment failures and major issues to upper management promptly
- Support continuous improvement efforts in plant reliability and maintenance process
- Hourly Pay
- Potential monthly bonus up to 5% of total monthly earnings

- Monday to Thursday: 3 pm to 1:30 am (Four-day work week with weekends off)

- Proven Experience (5+ years) in industrial maintenance, preferably in a production, bottling or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience required
- Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems preferred
- Familiarity with production machinery, electrical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work in various environments, and respond to after-hours emergencies if required.
