The Pay Range For This Role Is
20 - 20 USD per hour (Hybrid (Honolulu, Hawaii, US))

About The Role
- The Business Analyst Intern reports to Project Manager, responsible for reviewing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and suggesting solutions that correspond with the goals and missions of the organization.
- The Business Analyst Intern collaborates closely with Senior Business Analysts, Clients and Executives such as managers, and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and promote successful business solution implementation.
- Designing and creating specifications as requested by the sales and accounts management team.
- Collaborating with managers and consultants to effectively document business processes.
- Ensuring that the appropriate infrastructure elements, such as documents, policy documents, manuals, periodicals, etc., are up to date and readily available.
- Creating and developing functional system requirements for improving performances, quality, external interfaces, and constraints.
- Checking and analyzing derived requirements that meet the customers’ requests.
- Outlining specifications of the requirements using standard templates for both used cases and detailed software.
- Managing requirements and making sure that they are stored in automated systems.
- Recording, manipulating and making reports on the requirements that are in the rational tool Suite.
- Monitoring the changes in baseline requirements through the effective application of change control processes and tools.
- Contributing to the development of test plans and test scripts as well as performing test execution as required.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university program with junior standing or higher, and based on Oʻahu, as this hybrid opportunity involves occasional in-person engagement.
- Identify opportunities for business process optimization, efficiency improvements, and automation on a proactive basis, and give recommendations for continuous improvement programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
