The Hemodialysis Team Leader oversees chronic hemodialysis care, providing daily supervision to care staff and coordinating with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Responsible for staff support, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensures compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards, maintaining a safe environment.
- Assesses patient needs, monitors treatments, administers medications, and educates patients and families.
- Supervises equipment use, participates in quality assurance, and handles emergency situations.
- Requires RN licensure, ?9 months nursing and 3 months dialysis experience, supervisory skills, and excellent communication.
- Involves physical work, travel between facilities, and adherence to safety protocols.
