A Typical Day
The Vice President Investor Relations is responsible for equipping the organization with an effective discipline which oversees relations with investors, shareholders and or/the general financial community. As the VP Investor Relations, you will direct the development of research and analytics required to address investor questions/concerns and prepare investor presentations to promote and maintain positive relationships with investors, analysts and other important stakeholders and influencers in the investment community .

The Vice President Investor Relations is responsible for equipping the organization with an effective discipline which oversees relations with investors, shareholders and or/the general financial community. As the VP Investor Relations, you will direct the development of research and analytics required to address investor questions/concerns and prepare investor presentations to promote and maintain positive relationships with investors, analysts and other important stakeholders and influencers in the investment community .
The VP Investor Relations Will
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Executive and Senior Leadership teams to provide consultation on investor relations topics
- Collaborate with internal teams, including corporate communications, marketing, finance, corporate development and others to develop factual and transparent investor materials
- Help drive the earnings process, including the creation of quarterly earnings releases, presentations, call scripts, and other earnings-related materials
- Define and administer comprehensive operational routines to ensure the organization’s relationships with investors and shareholders reflect positively on the company’s stock price
- Plan and administer investor and analyst forums to promote and maintain positive relationships
- Maintain and publish status and exception management reporting for investor relations priorities
- Maintain and update the company’s investor relations websites
- Maintain and improve a competitive intelligence process to analyze and distribute industry and competitor intelligence to executive management
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
- Post graduate degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of mortgage/financial industry and the various industry participants
- Must have an understanding of financial statements and related disclosures
- Conversant with technical and critical components of Investor Relations Strategies
- Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
