The ideal candidate will support the accounting team in various financial tasks, including reconciling invoices, processing payments, handling expenses, and balancing accounts. C+A Global is seeking a detail-oriented, hands on Accounts Payable Representative (Level II) for our Edison office. The ideal candidate will support the accounting team in various financial tasks, including reconciling invoices, processing payments, handling expenses, and balancing accounts. Attention to detail is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist in reconciling all vendor accounts on a daily and/or monthly basis
- Post cash and credit card transactions to the appropriate accounts
- Ensure accuracy of cash applications in compliance with company criteria
- Coordinate with credit card holders to ensure proper receipt and approval of all invoices.
- Research flagged charges and relay information to the fraud specialist.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- General understanding of bookkeeping, credits and debits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central is preferred
- Thorough, organized and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
