The hiring range for this role is $121,840.00 – $167,530.00 USD. The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
Variable Compensation
KONE Annual Bonus plan (60/40) @ 15% incentive target based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.

Job Overview
As Regional Category Manager AME, Logistics, you will be responsible for developing and executing logistics procurement strategies across the Americas region (AME), ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and service-oriented logistics solutions. This role supports KONE’s strategic goals by driving savings, improving service levels, and fostering innovation in transportation and logistics.
Job Description
- Lead and manage logistics procurement activities across AME, including road, warehouse, customs brokerage, and small parcel services.
- Own and execute regional RFXs and manage supplier negotiations and contract finalization.
- Own supplier governance for the AME region, including organizing and leading regular Business Review Meetings (e.g., QBRs) with key logistics providers to ensure performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders (e.g., Procurement, Logistics, Finance, etc…) to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Monitor and report on savings initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with routing guides, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying cost-saving opportunities, optimizing carrier mix, and implementing innovative logistics solutions.
- Act as the key liaison for logistics procurement matters in AME, including vendor management, issue resolution, and performance tracking.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics procurement or category management, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of North American logistics markets, regulations, and procurement practices.
- Proven experience managing complex RFPs, contracts, and supplier relationships.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and procurement tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
