Description:
The core function of this job is to oversee and track all Beer, Wine, Spirits and Non-Alcoholic Point of Sale (POS) inventory for the specified Heidelberg location. This includes receiving deliveries, sorting, tracking, organizing, and displaying POS materials in all aisles for associates to find.

Requirements:
Receive all non-product deliveries by verifying and signing delivery slips.

Update and share the daily delivery tracker via Teams.

Ensure area is organized, clean, and free of clutter at all times.

Manage and update POS inventory spreadsheet.

Communicate to Heidelberg associates daily on POS deliveries and location of items.

Work with sales associates to check out POS materials.

Assist with POS assembly as needed.

Order neon parts and repair neons as needed.

Print off and post item numbers and photo descriptions of each item in POS area.

Ensure proper invoices are provided by the sales team prior to passing out items with monetary value (ie: glassware, umbrellas, etc.)

Communicate with management when key inventory items are running low and/or depleted.

Work with management on cleaning/decluttering of POS area monthly or as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Firm understanding of Heidelberg Distributing’s Mission, Vision, and Values

Sales/Marketing experience preferred

Inventory management experience preferred

OSHA-Certified Forklift Operator certification required; must be able to operate walkie power jacks

Knowledge of Heidelberg’s suppliers and brands

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Computer Skills – Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams a must

Work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities and multitask.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and wide temperature variations.

Regular, consistent physical attendance is required. Expected hours of work are Monday through Friday during the Company’s regular business hours. Weekend work may be required on occasion.

Dress code is business casual; closed-toe shoes are suggested. Other restrictions may apply.

Must be able to lift 35 lbs. minimum, climb ladders while working safely.

While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; walk; climb stairs, sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools, or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers and phones; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
