This position exists to support the engineering department by managing the specification review and design of products, interfacing with customers and team members, and coordinating functional teams to deliver client orders. This is an electrical engineering project management position.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work Experience: 3+ years related experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field
Related Experience:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.

JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read, interpret, and understand architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Establishes deadlines, develops goals, and determines production standards for the department
- Analyzes data and reviews drawings and plans to ensure quality of work and project feasibility
- Create AutoCAD/Inventor installation & drawings
- Maintain the detailing schedule in order to meet both internal and external customer demands
- Performs other duties as assigned
Work Experience: 3+ years related experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field
Related Experience:
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Proficient in math and measurements to accurately design and draw products
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn AutoCAD/Inventor
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment
- 1-3+ years’ supervisory experience
- Professionally licensed or willing to pursue license as required to support project requirements
- Ability to provide strategic approaches for advancing technology in MXS’ detailing process
- Understand engineering design principles to guide designers and drafters
