Billing Manager

Job Description: As a Billing Manager, you will manage and supervise the remote billing bookkeepers that report to you. Daily, you will record all financial transactions, including cash payments, into the correct general ledger and verify that they are accurate in addition to maintaining all financial records, managing an open line of communication with the Operating Director for our locations. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of experience as a professional bookkeeper and has experience managing a team.

Job Responsibilities and Reporting Structure:

• Supervise and manage remote billing bookkeeper team
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and input transactions into the correct ledger
• Process company billing and weekly invoices as a primary role in this position
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and input transactions into the correct ledger
• Reconcile bank and other accounts
• Work through aged accounts receivables
• Handling journal entries

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred
• Management and Supervisory Experience
• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
• Processing weekly invoices, billing cycles, month end reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and billing/invoicing to clients
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to clear required background check
