Machine Operator
Valcom Inc
Date: 1 day ago
City: Roanoke, VA
Contract type: Full time

Valcom is a leader in voice paging, intercom, and emergency notification systems. Virtually all Valcom's products are engineered, manufactured, and supported in our 120,000-square-foot facility in Roanoke, Virginia. Now part of Potter Global Technologies, we offer a unique employee ownership program backed by private equity firm, KKR. As a co-owner, you'll have the opportunity to play a more direct role in our business and benefit financially from our growth - a rare perk you won't find with our competitors.
We are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators for our evening shift, working Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. A shift differential is included, and mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience running press brakes, punch machines, and other CNC equipment, especially those comfortable interpreting blueprints and diagrams in a production setting.
As a Machine Operator in our Metal Fabrication department, you’ll play a key role in maintaining quality and efficiency across the floor. In addition to operating and maintaining fabrication equipment, you'll inspect components for accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and support a clean, organized workspace. Flexibility is key — operators are expected to cross-train in other areas and contribute to a team-oriented environment that values accountability, precision, and continuous improvement. This year we have invested in over 1 million dollars in new equipment, with more improvements in our metal fabrication shop planned.
If you’re looking for a company that values your expertise, offers room to grow, and rewards your contributions through shared ownership, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and join a team that’s building the future of mass communication systems.
