Must hold a valid Multiple Subject Credential, or PK-3 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Specialist Instruction Credential, or have verification of completion of credential requirements. AND Must meet one of the following requirements: 1. At least 24 units in Early Childhood Education, or Childhood Development, or combination of both. 2. Professional experience as a lead teacher in a classroom setting with preschool age children. 2a. 1.5 years of full-day experience (8 hours per day x 246 days) 2b. 4 years of part-day experience (4 hours per day x 180 days) 3. Hold a Child Development Teacher Permit or higher. 4. Verification of employment that the teacher was assigned to teach TK students prior to July 1, 2015

- Letter from Credential program currently enrolled (Required for all Pre-interns)
- EL Authorization (must provide proof if it is not embedded in California Credential)
- Two (2) current Letters of Recommendation (within the last 12 months)**
- CBEST (optional) *Credential Copy (Must show Subject Description, Expiration Date and EL Authorization) **Letters should be from current or former Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, or Program Director. If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor.
