Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and SOX requirements. This position plays a key role in financial reporting, internal controls, strategic planning, and team leadership.

• Oversee financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and SOX standards
• Lead audits, prepare consolidated financials, and provide variance analysis to leadership
• Manage accounting operations: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, and monthly close
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives (e.g., M&A, systems)
• Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team
• Maintain internal controls and financial policies
• Partner cross-functionally and participate in executive-level planning
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 10+ years of accounting experience; 5+ in a leadership role with a public company
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains preferred)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
