Love books and helping people? Join our team! We're looking for a friendly, organized Library Aide to help with shelving, sorting, and supporting our team during busy times. You'll also lend a hand at the front desk and assist in areas like youth services, reference, or circulation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately, sort, shelve, and file library materials using classification systems.
- Maintain orderly, clean shelves and public spaces, correct misplaced items.
- Conduct regular sweeps, check book drops, and support opening/closing tasks.
- Prepare outgoing materials and process incoming deliveries.
- Retrieve items to fulfill holds and check in materials using library systems.
- Sort donations by condition and library criteria.
- Assist customers in person and by phone with accounts, holds, and general inquiries.
- Support programs, events, and perform general clerical duties as needed.
- Resolve patron disputes and provide directional and customer service assistance.
- Stay informed on library updates and suggest improvements.
- Complete forms and reports to document circulation activities.

Requirements:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Basic knowledge of the library, basic computer and technical skills and basic customer services skills required.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License upon hire.
Compensation: $15.90
