What You’ll Do:
As a CBHC Administrative Support Staff member, you will be the first point of contact for individuals accessing BHN’s behavioral health services. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to clinical staff, ensure the accuracy of administrative processes, and help create a welcoming environment for individuals and families receiving care. You will be primarily located out of Springfield but will float to Westfield and Agawam locations as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and direct individuals in a professional and compassionate manner
Answer phones, manage voicemail, and handle inquiries efficiently
Verify and update insurance, contact information, and payment details
Notify clinicians and providers of individual arrivals per clinic protocol
Maintain a clean and organized waiting area and office space
Organize provider schedules, appointments, cancellations, and reminders
Process intake referrals and respond to release of information requests
Sort and distribute mail, scan and file documents, and assist with paperwork

Who You Are:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
At least 6 months of office or administrative experience (preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with office equipment
Bilingual English/Spanish abilities (preferred but not required)
