About The Job
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for helping to effectively convey our purpose through visual communication for internal, B2B, and B2C audiences. This role’s responsibilities encompass diverse design projects, including print, digital, and environmental design, all focused on reinforcing a cohesive and impactful Marathon brand. This role is essential in delivering high-quality, branded work that adheres to our guidelines and advances our purpose to improve the health of the patients we serve.
This role will be focused primarily on, but not limited to, creative support for our operations, field marketing, marketing automation, and patient engagement teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design or in a similar role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of mediums and expert-level proficiency with design software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, and PowerPoint. Working familiarity with other design software, such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, etc., is also desirable.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design high-quality graphics for various marketing mediums, including websites, social media, print, and presentations utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), PowerPoint, and other tools as appropriate.
- Demonstrate strong visual design skills with the ability to combine various design principles like color theory, typography, contrast, balance, repetition, and alignment.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.
- Expertly communicate in verbal, written, and visual forms.
- Follow creative design guidance and instruction to help ensure all work meets brand standards and quality expectations.
- Partner with leaders in various departments to understand business objectives and provide creative solutions, then translate insights and performance data into design concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize a creative vision for the Marathon Health brand.
- Work independently while maintaining excellent ongoing status communication.
- Stay updated with design trends and technologies to incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
- Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine the final output.
- Experience in healthcare is a plus.
