Data Acquisition / Computer Science Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Technical Data Entry Clerk or Computer Science Intern to support our food manufacturing operations. This role involves collecting machine setpoints, photographing equipment, and organizing information into easy-to-use digital setpoint documents for use on handheld tablets.

Ideal candidates are first-year college students studying Computer ScienceIndustrial Engineering, or a related technical field—or individuals with strong technical clerical or data entry experience and an interest in food production environments.

Position Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Visit food manufacturing and packaging lines to document machine settings and operating parameters.
• Take clear photographs of equipment and control panels for reference in documentation.
• Enter machine settings, notes, and photos into structured digital forms or templates.
• Organize and upload documentation for use on Windows-based tablets by frontline operations teams.
• Collaborate with operators and technical staff to ensure accuracy and usability of documentation.
• Maintain data integrity and file organization on shared drives or designated systems.
  
  

Position Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college program (1st or 2nd year preferred) in Computer ScienceIndustrial EngineeringInformation Technology, or similar.
• Team player with good communication skills
• Pay Range $26.00 - $30.00 per hour.Â
