Shipping Supervisor

Hours: 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Responsibilities

• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments
• Arrange transportation that optimizes service and cost
• Assist clerks in shipping and receiving activities
• Maintain trailer maintenance report
• Assist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required to ensure effective communication and understanding in this role
• Degree in Management, a related field, or equivalent on the job experience
• 3-5 years supervisor experience in manufacturing field required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Some experience operating machinery is preferred
