Level: Admin. 2
Location: Onsite
The salary band that this position falls into Salary Range: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour with some differences for locations outside of California. SprintRay uses broad banding. Actual salary is based on position, market factors, location, experience, and qualifications.

R&D Technician II
SprintRay is the only 3D printing company that provides a complete user experience for dentists and digital dentistry from product to long-term support and education.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Characterizing and testing the materials including liquid materials, particles, and polymers
- Raw materials and finished goods quality measurement
- Mix and formulate materials under the supervision of a senior chemist
- Collaborate closely with resin QC and manufacturing teams for upcoming products
- Complete raw materials and finished goods quality evaluations
- Follow Standard Laboratory Procedures for testing and characterization of materials
- Assist engineers and scientists in establishing materials standards of quality, including usability and reliability
- Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization in the workshop area
- Follow up safety rules and procedures constantly
- Maintaining and calibrating quality equipment
- Work with the product design team to implement improvement features
- Analyse the data and provide timely feedback to the chemist/engineer supervisor
- 2+ years of experience manufacturing, characterizing, and testing polymer resins
- Bachelor of science, chemical engineering or equivalent experience
- Basin material science knowledge
- Familiarity with products in dental field is a plus
