The successful candidate will be a centralized point of contact for loan management services; and may be responsible for document filings, real estate property tax analysis, property inspection processing and verification of mortgage loan assets of a complex nature.

Responsibilities
Job Description
- Perform a variety of servicing tasks related to real estate taxes, UCC filings, mortgage releases, property inspections and other tasks to meet clients’ needs in managing commercial and agricultural loan portfolios.
- Support the origination of new loans and annual verifications by completing timely and accurate reviews of real estate tax status, including identifying delinquent real estate taxes.
- Analysis and identification of all applicable taxing authorities and associated applicable real estate tax ID’s.
- Interpret documents including real estate tax maps, title commitments, legal descriptions, surveys, appraisals, ground leases, deeds and mortgage loan documents.
- Evaluate real estate taxes on loans acquired through acquisitions and the mortgage loan portfolio.
- Plot and analyze collateral boundaries, research and coordinate with taxing authorities, loan officers, line managers, and borrowers/property managers to resolve tax parcel discrepancies.
- Prepare mortgage loan releases/satisfactions and UCC terminations.
- Prepare and file UCC continuations and amendments to maintain a first lien position in the collateral supporting the mortgage loan.
- Perform daily tasks reviewing, analyzing, and processing property inspection reports.
- Create, revise or update procedures as applicable, ensuring client requirements, key controls, and other regulatory requirements are maintained.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with borrowers, clients, third party service providers, attorneys and title companies.
- Maintain integrity of complex paper and electronic documents. Verify documents are accurately categorized and indexed to aid in organizing the information to be retrievable.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or equivalent experience
- Three years of commercial mortgage loan closing, servicing or relevant experience. Graduate degree may be substituted for up to two years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial mortgage loan servicing and documentation.
- Experience using loan management systems and working in a paperless work environment.
- Research skills and attention to detail to review documents and identify unique terms.
- Able to prioritize multiple projects.
- Able to work independently on document reviews, preparation and progress reports.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
