A Humanities Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Bilateral Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.

This Humanities Teacher position will be full time and permanent.

Teaching for this Humanities Teacher position can be flexible based on the specialism of the appointed Teacher.

Teaching can be for Geography/History/Religious Education from KS3 to KS5 or Sociology at KS4 and KS5.

The salary for this Humanities Teacher role will be between £37868 and £56154, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A Bilateral Coeducational Academy for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, located in the London Borough of Bexley.

The school's history goes back to the 1890s and was officially established in 1967.

It has previously been awarded Specialist School status in ICT, Maths and PE.

There are currently just over 1500 pupils enrolled at the school.

Requirements

You're welcome to apply if you're a recently qualified Humanities Teacher or experienced Humanities Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Humanities Teacher or overseas trained Humanities Teacher.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Humanities Teacher:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a Humanities Teacher in UK Secondary schools
