What are we looking for in a Quality Improvement Coordinator?
Quality Improvement Coordinators work to organize and manage the organization’s quality improvement process including the delivery of trainings, facilitation of process improvement activities, the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, and the development and presentation of reports and project summaries.

What are we looking for in a Quality Improvement Coordinator?
Quality Improvement Coordinators work to organize and manage the organization’s quality improvement process including the delivery of trainings, facilitation of process improvement activities, the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, and the development and presentation of reports and project summaries.
Duties May Include:
- Close coordination with the Quality Improvement Board, central part of our QI plan
- Facilitates and manages process improvement projects with other QI staff
- Develops and leads process improvement trainings on a variety of topics
- Data collection, analysis and reporting
- Evaluates data to identify QI opportunities and risk management issues
- Applies strong mathematical, analytical, and problem - solving skills to assess data and design appropriate QI interventions
- Play the lead role in the QI Division for developing and implementing process improvement trainings consistent with LEAN/Six-Sigma concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the social sciences, health administration, nursing or related field
- Four years of experience in a medical or behavioral health setting, preferably in a managed care environment
- Requires strong project management skills, communication and training skills, and sound knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement principles, practices, methods, and tools
