RCI Inside Wholesale Account Representative
RCI Offroad is looking for a motivated and results driven sales professional to join our company! The Wholesale Account Representative will be responsible for driving rapid sales growth specifically focusing on the B2B channels at RCI Offroad, while providing world class service to our customers. This growth will be achieved by growing existing customer accounts, seeking new B2B accounts and driving revenue growth. This position is expected to travel at least 20-30% of their time. This individual will establish RCI Offroad as a company that provides product, expertise and solutions to offroad and overlanding enthusiasts and installers.
Candidates must have at least 6+ years of B2B/Wholesale and account management experience. We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset who is customer centric, has strong skills in communication, is analytical with data and able to share/absorb constructive feedback. This role reports to the Sales Manager. Candidates with a strong technical offroad and overlanding background is a plus.
This is a full-time salary plus commission role that is expected to work at least 40 hours and will have the opportunity for monthly and annual bonuses.
Daily Tasks Include

Daily Tasks Include
- Outbound lead generation – In this role you will be responsible for lead generation by locating qualified distributors, dealers, fleet managers and installers to join our vast network of B2B partners. Leveraging our vast inventory, growing new product offerings and short lead times in order to provide win-win solutions for our B2B partners while driving incremental sales.
- Account Management – In this role you will be responsible for driving retention and loyalty with our existing B2B partner base. This will require managing inbound contacts from our customers, order management, account performance communication among various other account management components including but not limited to cold calling, attrition/churn management, quarterly/annual performance communications, pricing updates, etc.
- Relationship Building – In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining trust, respect and brand loyalty. This will require you to build rapport with our customers and co-workers, developing strong product knowledge, and asking questions which provide us an effective way to improve service to our accounts.
- CRM management – In this role you will be using various software tools to track customer communications on a regular basis.
- Daily execution and follow through – In this role you must be results oriented and motivated by a goal. This may require creative solutions to existing challenges so that we can overcome obstacles while delivering on customer promises.
- Customer Service - Keeping the needs of the customers front and center, providing exceptional service to clients and proactively servicing the account. This role is focused on B2B partners but there may be occasions where assistance is needed for B2C customers (lunch break & PTO coverage as well as heavy communication traffic seasons).
- Lead Generation – In this role, you will be responsible for meeting quotas for outbound lead generation, lead conversion and account growth. This will consist of a mix of cold calling, emailing and other messaging that will allow you to connect with our potential partners.
- Identify Customer Needs – In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining regular conversation with our B2B partners so that we can identify their needs – ultimately allowing us to serve those needs while building stronger relationships.
- Negotiate and Closing – In this role you will be responsible for signing up new accounts, working with customers on new orders, pricing, etc. within established B2B pricing programs and guidelines.
- Customer Interaction – In this role you will be responsible for representing the core values of the company with world class professionalism and the determination to drive loyalty, trust and respect with our customers ultimately seeking opportunity for growth.
- General Support Tasks – In this role you will be responsible for managing customer communications (phone, email, chat, text etc.), order entry, order management and customer account management.
- Account Reactivation – In this role you will be responsible for Account Reactivation, which will include identifying dormant customer accounts, reaching out to the respective B2B partner and determining what must be done to reactivate the relationship.

- Enthusiasm and profound knowledge of the off-roading and overlanding marketplace; enthusiast trends; and technical automotive repair/maintenance experience.
- At least 6+ years of B2B/Wholesale and account management experience
- A customer service oriented approach with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional phone etiquette
- Proficiency in Microsoft or Google Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new software, including Slack, HelpScout, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

- Travel is a significant aspect of this role, requiring 20-30% availability for travel.
- Provide support for events and tradeshows as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.
- Rapid growth in the B2B space through new lead generation, account management and new channel development while meeting revenue and margin plans.
- Ability to reduce customer attrition by promptly addressing customer feedback and concerns while maintaining a connection with our customers.

- 3-month ramp-up period included (guaranteed monthly minimum compensation of $4,300, base + commission)
- First Year expected annual compensation: $55,000 - $70,000+ (base + uncapped commission)
