Key Responsibilities
- Service & Diagnostics
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems
- Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups to ensure optimal performance
- Customer Communication
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners to explain service work, system conditions, and available options
- Build trust with customers through honest, knowledgeable service
- Documentation & Efficiency
- Accurately document service calls, recommendations, and completed work using digital tools
- Manage tools, inventory, and scheduling to ensure timely and effective service
- Mentorship & Leadership
- Provide guidance to junior techs or apprentices as needed
- Uphold company standards for service excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service and repair
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, electrical components, refrigerant charging, and diagnostics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to first-time resolution
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
