Anteris is a science-driven structural heart company that is redefining expectations and advancing the field through cutting-edge solutions focused on restoring native-like physiology versus treating symptoms of structural heart disease. We are currently developing a new class of TAVR designed to mimic the performance of a healthy aortic valve. With offices in Minneapolis, MN, US; Geneva, Switzerland; and Brisbane and Perth, Australia, we have a growing and inclusive team.
The Director of Organizational Development & Effectiveness will play a key role in strengthening our global leadership and organizational capabilities. This leader will drive initiatives that enhance team cohesion, learning and development, performance and culture, change agility, leadership effectiveness, and organizational design.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role, acting as a program leader and trusted consultant to HR and business leadership. The Director will help elevate global team performance during times of rapid growth and change, with a strong focus on developing leadership capabilities across the organization.
Success in this role requires the ability to operate seamlessly at all levels. One moment, you might be mapping career paths for hourly production roles or launching engagement survey reporting; the next, you're facilitating executive team offsites, leading org design workshops, or delivering global leadership development programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Organizational Development & Effectiveness Strategy
- Lead programs that align strategy, structure, culture, metrics, and talent processes to support Anteris’ mission, values, and business goals.
- Assess organizational needs and deliver initiatives including team building, coaching, culture change, org transformation, restructuring, engagement, performance, and succession planning.
- Partner with senior leaders and HR to design and implement high-impact OD strategies, interventions, and change management initiatives.
2. Learning & Leadership Development
- Lead, develop, and enhance AORTIC Academy offerings for global teams members.
- Build and evolve scalable talent frameworks and leveling guides for all job families.
- Manage vendor relationships (e.g., coaches, learning providers).
- Support individual development plans and targeted growth programming.
3. Org Design, Team Effectiveness & Change
- Guide / lead org design and strategic workforce planning alongside HR and business leadership.
- Facilitate team effectiveness interventions using tools such as Insights Discovery, DiSC, and Positive Intelligence.
- Coach leaders and teams on change readiness, transformation, and leadership behavior.
- Create and maintain employee and manager toolkits and self-service portals.
- Design and deliver forums, workshops, and leadership events aligned with change and growth.
- Support HR system implementations as needed.
- Oversee the application of tools, methods, frameworks, technologies, and processes to make the organization and its people more productive, innovative, and profitable.
4. Performance & Engagement Programs
- Manage core HR programs including performance management and engagement surveys.
- Lead communication, training, and improvement efforts to drive adoption and results.
- Support/lead inclusion & belonging initiatives, employee recognition/awards, ERGs, and culture-building efforts.
- Track and report progress on all programs; target 80%+ satisfaction in communication, values alignment, and engagement.
5. Additional Info
- The majority of work is office-based with periodic international travel.
- This role is based out of our Eagan office, but this individual will be expected to regularly visit our Maple Grove campus(es).
Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources with at least 3 years in Organizational Development, Change Management, Leadership Development, Org Design, Performance / Talent Management COE leadership
- Proven experience designing, developing, and delivering large-scale, cross-departmental programs and/or strategic change initiatives
- Strategic oversight of designing / managing / facilitating global learning / leadership programs
- Organizational development change management best practices and tools with demonstrated ability to translate it to practical application
- Strong consultative and diagnostic skills
- Experience serving as an advisor & technical expert regarding organizational developing, including organization culture & team development
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrates strong presentation and facilitation throughout at all levels of the organization
- Superior experiential learning and development capabilities
- Experience with O/D tools, systems, and framework
- Experience with HR analytics, KPIs, reporting dashboards, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- International travel as needed with valid passport (:10-15%)

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications:
- Experience leading at least two of the following HR Specialty COEs: Organizational Development, Change Management, Leadership Development, Org Design, Performance/Talent Management
- Experiences building and scaling organizational development initiatives and org, talent and culture programming globally that were in alignment to the company mission, values & business strategic priorities with tangible results/metrics
- Assessment / Coaching certification- Insights Discovery, Hogan, DiSC, MBTI, Positive Intelligence, International Coaching Federation, etc.
- MAIR, Master's degree in Leadership & Organizational Development / Change / Talent Development / other
- Scrappy, innovative, can-do, get-stuff-done, collaborative personality
