As an Instructional Designer at Mini Mall, you will create engaging learning activities and develop course content to facilitate effective knowledge acquisition and increased sales results. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, apply instructional design theories and methods, and utilize multimedia tools to enhance the learning process.

As an Instructional Designer at Mini Mall, you will create engaging learning activities and develop course content to facilitate effective knowledge acquisition and increased sales results. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, apply instructional design theories and methods, and utilize multimedia tools to enhance the learning process.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Create immersive online and virtual educational experiences for frontline retail employees with a focus on micro-learning and video content.
- Develop a cohesive and relevant curriculum by partnering with organization leaders.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts for lesson development to identify gaps as well as learner’s needs and objectives for learning content.
- Use core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learning.
- Research and implement new technologies into instruction to provide interactive activities and educational resources.
- Maintain and organize project course files and documents.
- Revisit and assess learning objectives, existing instructional content, and align the content with roles and competencies.
- Assess, track, and report on ongoing learner progress.
- A degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field would be an asset.
- Clear and effective curriculum-planning skills.
- Familiarity with Articulate 360 suite, Camtasia and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Ability to navigate learning management systems.
- Critical thinking, along with concrete verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories.
- Ability to navigate learning management systems, assess learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Proficiency in course development software and understanding of SCORM files.
