Essential Functions
Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients.
- Read printed tickets carefully with attention to detail.
- Inspect products for quality, inconsistencies, and mistakes.
- Accurately deliver completed orders to their designated tables.
- Monitor guests throughout their visit, ensuring their satisfaction with products and services.
- Assist servers, support staff, and customers with additional tasks as needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant.
- Complete all opening, closing, and side duties.
- Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions
- Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
- Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
- Lift, carry, and balance 30+ lbs
- Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Navigate a busy restaurant while carrying orders of food
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Work in a fast-paced environment while balancing excellent customer service
