We are looking for an IT Procurement Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be accountable for the management of the software asset lifecycle and related data including acquisition, compliance, maintenance renewals, contract consolidations, cost control and decommissioning. They will need to work closely with other IT departments, internal business stakeholders and vendors as part of our global IT Procurement and Software Licensing team. The pay scale for this position is $60K-$80K annually, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Your Role

  • Maintain the ServiceNow ITAM database, including input and update of data for software assets in relation to requisition, procurement, assignment, deployment, management, maintenance, and retirement
  • Identify discrepancies in the software models and asset records in the ServiceNow ITAM database through periodic quality assurance audits, resolve or escalate them for investigation
  • Assist with Enterprise Agreement reporting and internal cost allocations (ie. Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, Bentley, etc.) and manage license assignments in vendor portal systems
  • Engage in the software support and maintenance renewals process and software inventory reporting to support negotiations in partnership with Vendor Management
  • Provide timely and meaningful inventory, deployment, usage, and availability information to business managers
  • Assist with integration of data from newly acquired organizations into Tetra Tech systems from various data sources
  • Work with IT Management to ensure compliance with company procedures and best practices while maintaining compliance with vendor terms and conditions to reduce risk to the business and respond to external vendor audit requests and administer proactive software audit processes
  • Document processes, identify process gaps and engage in process improvement
  • Ability to present business cases to senior management for approval
  • Assist with triage of IT service requests and incidents
  • Work internally with other IT departments as needed
  • Supervise resources responsible for data entry into ServiceNow ITAM systems
  • Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience minimum within a customer-facing IT operation or admin role
  • Experience with enterprise agreements such as Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, and other enterprise vendors
  • Admin experience with ServiceNow SAM, HAM and CMDB modules including model normalization, reconciliation and reclamation processes
  • Collect data from various sources including SCCM, Active Directory, SQL, Oracle, Sharepoint, etc.
  • Experience with complex database tools, relational databases, and data visualization (ie. Excel, Access, SQL, Power BI)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, OneDrive, Teams
  • Knowledge of IT asset management and IT Procurement processes and systems
  • Core software licensing experience including software licensing & license types, maintenance renewals, license key management and compliance
  • Attention to detail/detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize in a customer-focused fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Work in a global support team independently and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent administrative skills and record-keeping methods and procedures
  • Critical thinking and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pacific or Mountain time zone preferred
  • ITIL, ITAM and/or SAM training or certification
  • PowerShell and other programming languages
  • Experience with engineering/scientific software is an advantage
  • Negotiation experience and solid knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures
  • Configuration and use of APIs and direct integrations
