Westminster Christian School along with Harvest Bible Chapel is partnering together to form a New Christian School!


We are so thankful for your interest in the Temporary Project Manager role for the new school partnership we are embarking upon. This role will last approximately 18 months.


Summary of Primary Purpose:

Coordinate, track, monitor and oversee multiple transition teams, ensuring seamless execution across all aspects of the transition to completion. Serve as the liaison between the teams and the Superintendent and Steering Team School Board) of all projects. Coordinate and monitor project stages and assess progress to define charter and scope and expected timelines. A passion for Christian schools and actively engaged in a biblically based church.


Essential Roles & Responsibilities, duties include but are not limited to:

Implementation & Execution:

  • Lead the step-by-step project execution of the transition plan, ensuring that all key milestones and deadlines are met, including adherence to budget and scope
  • Work closely and confer with transition teams, to identify and provide solutions/recommendations.
  • Monitor progress across all teams, providing support and ensuring alignment with the overall transition strategy
  • Identify and proactively address challenges or needs that may arise during the transition
  • Establish and track progress of teams using project planning tools (e.g. Google Sheets, Excel, Gantt Chart, etc.)
  • Organizing, planning and prioritization of transition teams
  • Stays in regular communication with the Superintendent regarding status of teams, priorities, challenges, or resources needed
  • Personal and growing relationship with Jesus and a humility to testify to it: Ability to pray with staff & guests

Coordination with Transition Teams:

  • Understand the roles and expectations/deliverable for each team
  • Facilitate regular meetings with team leads to understand progress, delays or setbacks occurring within the team
  • Provide tools, resources, and guidance to help teams achieve their specific objectives within budget
  • Foster a spirit of unity and shared purpose among all teams and stakeholders

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all transition-related inquiries and updates
  • In conjunction with the Communication Transition Team, schedule required meetings, Q&A sessions, and community forums to address concerns and foster engagement


Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Highly skilled in project management (e.g. organizing, meeting deadlines, providing direction, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership skills (e.g. decisiveness, integrity, positive attitude, dependability, professionalism, responsibility, critical thinking, collaboration, providing feedback, etc.)
  • Establishing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written)
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, provide solutions and influence others
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, budgets, and timelines
  • Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong understanding of Christian education principles and experience in a faith-based school environment preferred


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in project management, school administration, or organizational change
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification desirable
  • Experience in school transitions, mergers, or new school launches is preferred


Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000
