Position Summary

Lawvex is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our business development team. This role is focused on expanding and nurturing referral source relationships and coordinating client-facing and community-based events that generate long-term referral-based growth.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and metrics-driven, with a talent for building strong professional relationships and a passion for community engagement. This position is foundational to the strategic growth of Lawvex’s Team100 Referral Partner Program and our goal of scaling sustainable, high-quality referrals across California.


Core Objectives of the Role

  1. Create and nurture a growing Team100 of high-quality referral partners, aiming for at least 300–500 active partners each giving a minimum of one referral per year.
  2. Plan and manage referral and client-facing events (seminars, appreciation mixers, webinars) that drive lead generation and deepen brand presence.
  3. Support qualified lead flow and conversions, collaborating with the Intake and Client Coordinator team.
  4. Track, report, and grow the firm’s referral performance and relationship base over time.


Key Responsibilities Referral Source Development

  • Recruit, engage, and nurture professional relationships with new and existing referral partners.
  • Drive growth of the Team100 Referral Program from its current base (~30–40 monthly referrals) to 500+ active sources giving 1+ referral/year.
  • Develop and maintain referral partnerships across key verticals: financial advisors, CPAs, real estate agents, funeral homes, business consultants, and others.
  • Maintain a referral source CRM pipeline and ensure all outreach, activities, and outcomes are logged and measurable.


Event Management & Outreach

  • Coordinate, promote, and follow up on at least 4 in-person or virtual events monthly, including:
  • Referral partner appreciation events
  • Educational webinars for consumers and professionals
  • Sponsored community outreach seminars
  • Provide event success data (leads generated, relationships deepened, future engagement indicators).
  • Collaborate with internal staff and contractors to create marketing content and promotional materials.


Collaboration with Marketing Assistant – Digital & Social Presence

  • Coordinate with the Marketing Assistant to amplify the visibility of referral and event efforts:
  • Share referral partner highlights, community photos, and success stories
  • Feed event photos and stories into social media and email campaigns
  • Contribute content ideas for the Lawvex newsletter, blog, and video updates
  • Ensure all referral and community engagement is reflected across Lawvex.com, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Business Profiles.


Lead Generation & Tracking

  • Ensure all event and referral-generated leads are entered in Lawmatics CRM.
  • Work with Intake Team to ensure proper lead routing, status updates, and warm handoffs.
  • Produce monthly performance reports showing referral growth, event engagement, and contribution to new client matters.
